LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) was introduced in 1998 to ensure that any equipment used for lifting purposes undergo a 6-monthly inspection. Patient lifting hoists, standaids, ceiling track hoists, bath hoists and slings are amongst some of the more commonly found that would require a LOLER inspection. Any form of patient lifting equipment whether in a hospital, nursing home or a private residential home must be inspected by law.
Our team of engineers have over 10 years of LOLER inspection experience.
During any LOLER inspection, we guarantee:
- to call you in advance to arrange a time suitable for you and your staff.
- to inspect all your equipment at the agreed time and provide you with full LOLER certification.
- to undergo any additional maintenance immediately on site (whereever possible), our engineers carry most spares in their service vehicle.
- to offer loan equipment incase any of your equipment cannot be put back into service.
If any of your lifting equipment becomes faulty we can also offer a call-out backup, with response times guaranteed within 24hours but we usually can be onsite in under 8 hours.
